Spreadsheet risk management training

Our three courses have been designed help you and your team to mitigate the risk of using spreadsheets within an organisation

Spreadsheet risk management

1. Managing spreadsheet risk

Organisations are becoming more aware of the risks that spreadsheets can pose, but don’t always have the toolkit to manage them.

This course provides a valuable insight into how organisations can manage their spreadsheet risk in a better way.

Attendees will learn the nature of these risks, the characteristics of a well-managed spreadsheet risk environment and will leave the course with the toolkit to implement spreadsheet risk management policies and processes.

2. Spreadsheet best practice

Implementing a standardised in-house approach to Excel modelling is an essential step towards successfully mitigating spreadsheet risk.

In line with this, we run a practical one-day course on how to build Excel spreadsheet models in line with the FAST Standard.

3. Auditing spreadsheets

Organisations understand the importance of ensuring the quality and integrity of their critical spreadsheets, but don’t always have the toolkit to audit these spreadsheets.

Using the right mix of theory, worked examples and practical case studies, this course provides delegates with the full range of tools required to successfully audit spreadsheets.

Attendees will learn how to analyse a spreadsheet’s structure, validate its constants and formulae, and record their findings in a standardised audit template.
